Amber has built her career on making people laugh by staying true to herself, whether on stage, screen, or behind the mic of her own podcast. Although she’s a part of legendary singing cowboy Gene Autry’s family tree, the absence of men in her household, save for her trucker grandfather, gave her a unique perspective that now infuses her comedy with empathy and originality.
Her comedic tastes were shaped by an eclectic mix of influences, including Jim Carrey and Chris Farley. Her passion eventually led her to Chicago, where she trained at the prestigious Second City Conservatory and performed musical improv at The Annoyance Theatre.
Amber’s comedic timing and uplifting energy played a crucial role in her development. JR De Guzman was the first comic to take her on tour. Fortune Feimster, Dave Attell, and Whitney Cummings offered both practical advice and powerful examples of how to thrive as a comic with a distinct voice.
