What to Expect During Your Visit
Whether this is your first comedy show ever, or your first visit to Comedy Works, you can expect to laugh, chuckle and even snort. We pride ourselves on booking only the top comedians in the country.
Comedy Works Downtown at Larimer Square is located at 1226 15th Street, between Lawrence and Larimer, facing north. Look for our big awning. You can’t miss it.
Comedy Works South at The Landmark is located at 5345 Landmark Place in Greenwood Village. We are just off of I-25, between Belleview and Orchard.
Our downtown box office is located in the upstairs lobby. If you arrive early you can enjoy a pre-show drink at our lobby bar which opens 1 hour before show time.
Our south box office is just inside the main doors to your left. To your right is Lila B. Lounge, an intimate setting to socialize before or after a show.
After checking in at the box office, you’ll either go directly into our showroom to be seated, or wait in line. It depends on the night and time of show. Our later shows on Friday and Saturday normally require waiting and standing in line for the earlier shows to let out. Feel free to order drinks while waiting.
Upon entering the showroom you will be immediately seated. All seating is first come, first serve (remember at our South location the first 6 rows are reserved for customers dining at Lucy restaurant).
If you’re with a large group try to arrive together if you want to sit together. Otherwise, depending on the crowd size, you may be scattered about the showroom.
Drinks inside the showroom are served through our cocktail staff. If the Olympics offered an event for cocktail serving, they’d be perpetual gold medal winners. So if it’s a sold out show, don’t fret, they’re aware of your presence. They’ll be with you as quickly as possible.
Before the show begins, enter our nightly raffle for free future show tickets and area restaurant discounts by completing one of our "Join the Club" forms.
Once the show begins, be sure to turn off your cell phone.
On average, our shows feature three to five comedians, including the headliner. Our popular Tuesday New Talent Night averages around 10 comedians. Shows generally last 90 minutes.
We are a 100% Heckle Free Zone. Sorry, John Adams, but freedom of speech does not fly here. If, during the show, you insist on shouting to the comedians, chatting with your friends, gabbing on your cell phone, or disrupting in any manner, you will be asked to leave. It’s not that we’re against you enjoying yourself, but you must understand that the people sitting around did not pay to listen to you.
Your servers will drop off your tab about 15 minutes before the show ends. You will not be permitted to exit early if you cannot prove you paid your tab.
