JT Habersaat has opened for comedy legends Brian Posehn and Eddie Pepitone and is hailed as the 'Godfather of Punk Rock Comedy' by Chicago Now. He created the groundbreaking DIY juggernaut The Altercation Punk Comedy Tour in 2007, which he headlined for over a decade, and curates the annual Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas, recently praised by Vulture.com as one of the world’s top comedy festivals.

His latest one-hour special, Swamp Beast, produced by 800 Pound Gorilla Records and Warner Music Group, debuted at #1 on Amazon’s Comedy Charts. JT has performed at renowned venues like The Comedy Store, Dynasty Typewriter, City Winery NYC, and Lincoln Lodge Chicago, often teaming with icons like Henry Rollins and sharing stages with bands such as Off With Their Heads and The Sword.

JT’s comedy career spans national festivals, including The Vans Warped Tour, Punk Rock Bowling Fest Las Vegas, and Fun Fun Fun Fest Texas. He has appeared on Comedy Central’s The Upright Citizen’s Brigade and acted in Troma Films’ cult hit Toxic Avenger 4.
